Welcome to City Play for Kids!

We are an indoor playground focused on PLAY and IMAGINATION! We provide a clean, family-friendly play space, designed for children aged 1 to 8 years old, to explore and imagine without distracting screens and other noise. Children learn best through play, so lets let them play!

Admission

$15.00 Per child ages 1 - 8 years old.

1.5 hour open play sessions. no reservations required. We are generally busiest between 9:30am - 11:30am. if you’d like to play during quieter times, 12-3pm tends to be less busy.

each admission includes up to 2 adults. More than 2 adults require an additional Admission.

A signed Digital waiver is required before your kiddos can enter our play space.

Everyone Must Wear Socks in our play space. We strongly encourage Grippy socks for kiddos. Socks available for $2 if needed.

Additional Admission information:

OUR GOAL IS TO PROVIDE ALL FAMILIES A CLEAN ENVIRONMENT, THEREFORE WE ONLY ALLOW 'HEALTHY' KIDS IN OUR PLAY SPACE. IF YOU OR YOUR CHILD HAS A FEVER, RUNNY NOSE, COUGH OR OTHER SICK SYMPTOMS, WE HAVE THE RIGHT TO ASK YOU TO COME BACK ANOTHER DAY.

We ask all strollers be left in the car. We Don’t currently have the space for them.

WE DON'T ALLOW OUTSIDE FOOD. WE ARE A PEANUT-FREE PLAY SPACE AND WANT TO LIMIT THE NUMBER OF ALLERGENS BROUGHT IN TO PROTECT ALL CHILDREN.

wE ALLOW DRINKS AND KID CUPS WITH LIDS IN OUR PLAY SPACE. WE ALSO HAVE A DESIGNATED SNACK AREA WITH SMALL SNACKS AND DRINKS FOR PURCHASE.

As Natives to the Portland area and parents to two young kids, we were devastated to lose the Portland Children's Museum.

Our kids love to imitate life and we know other kids enjoy this too.

We wanted to focus on a local, affordable playspace for our community, that didn't require a trip into Portland or an all day event with travel.

FAQs

Q. How much is admission?

A. $15 for a one time drop in pass. We also offer discounted passes if you buy a value pack. Kids under 1 are free with paying sibling.

Q. My child is 9, do i still need to pay?

A. Yes, on a case by case basis, we will allow older kids/siblings to come play, even if they are over 8. All kids, 1 and over are required to pay to play. We make sure these older kids are aware of the younger kids and help us keep our little kids safe. We want all kids to enjoy City Play, but our offerings are geared to kiddos ages 1-8.

Q. Can i buy passes online?

A. Absolutely! Also sign your digital waiver online before you come to have a faster check in.

Q. How long can we play?

A. Each play pass allows for 90 minutes of playtime.

Q. Do i have to sign a waiver?

A. Yes, each child is required to have a digital waiver on file. The good news is, the waiver only has to be filled out once per child, so future plays are covered.

Q. Do you offer birthday Parties?

A. Yes we do! See our birthday section.

Q. Can i share a playpass value pack?

A. Immediate family members can absolutely share a play Pass Value Pack. Friends & other visitors will need to purchase their own one time or value pack. Thank you!

Q. Can i bring in my own snacks & drinks?

A. We allow drinks with lids in our playspace. We also offer a small selection of snacks & beverages for purchase in our designated snack area. We don't allow for outside food as we try to limit allergens. Thank you for understanding.

Twin Night - First ever twin night meet up!

May 1st 5pm-6:30pm

1.5 hr nighttime play session $15 a child
This event is focused on TWINS and giving our twin families a meet up space for their own special double fun community!

Birthday Parties are private play for 2 hours and allow for up to 18 children.

Each child beyond 18 is $10.

This rate includes private use of City Play and a host to help your party run seamlessly.

City Play for Kids Party FAQ’s!

Q: Can we bring our own food?

Yes absolutely! Please bring all your own food, cake and drinks. We do not allow outside food/drinks during normal play hours, but private parties have different rules. We do ask that no food contain peanuts & that all food/drinks be consumed at the tables. No food and drinks are allowed in the playhouses, play structure etc. No alcohol is allowed at City Play for Kids, thank you in advance for your compliance.

Q: How Many guests can i have?

Your party reservation includes up to 18 kiddos. Each additional child is $10.00. We cap adults around 25, as City Play is designed for no more than 50 people at a time. Please let us know if you’ll need more than 25 adult guests.

Q: what if i want extra time during my party?

If we do not have additional parties booked the day of your party, time permitting, we can extend your party play time by 30 min for $75.00 or 60 min for $125.00 + tax.

Q: can i decorate at City Play?

Yes! We’d love you to make the space your own, you get up to 30 min prior to your party time to set up which includes time for decorating. We allow and are happy to provide command hooks for our walls and structures. We do not allow glitter, confetti, smash cakes or pinatas. We also have decor packages & add ons for your convenience.

Q: can i see the space prior to my party?

Yes! We’d love it! Please pop over and we will be happy to show you around and answer any questions.

Q: will someone touch base with me before my party?

Yes! about 1 week before your party, we will send an email questionnaire for last minute questions and make sure we are on the same page for a smooth and seamless party day. Please feel free to call or email beforehand if you have a question.

Q: what if my guests forget socks?

Not a problem. We have socks for purchase. We are happy to add them to your party tab or just charge your guests at the door. We will touch base about this prior to your party so you can let us know how you’d like us to handle.

Q: do my guests need to sign a waiver?

Yes, we do need a waiver filled out for all kiddos joining your celebration. You can direct your guests to fill this out online prior to the party. Once filled out, it remains in our system, so if a guest has played at City Play before, they should already have this step completed. If someone forgets, not to worry, we have digital waivers available onsite.
